This page explains how to disconnect TikTok or another social account and request deletion of information associated with SocAPI.

Disconnect TikTok or another social account

Open the SocAPI panel and use the account or integration controls to disconnect the relevant account. Disconnecting stops SocAPI from using that authorization for new actions and starts removal or invalidation of locally stored authorization credentials.

Revoke authorization directly

You can also revoke SocAPI's authorization in TikTok's account or app settings. The labels and steps are controlled by TikTok and may change. Revoking authorization prevents future access through that connection, although it does not automatically delete information already stored by SocAPI.

Request deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject “SocAPI data deletion”. Include the email address or account identifier used with SocAPI and, if relevant, the connected TikTok username or account identifier. Do not send passwords, access tokens, API keys or other secrets.

We will verify the request, delete eligible SocAPI information without undue delay and target completion within 30 days. We may retain limited information required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution or reliable operation.

Information that may be deleted

Depending on your request, this may include your SocAPI account information, TikTok or other connection records, authorization credentials, scheduled content, uploaded media and related personal information stored by SocAPI.

Information held by TikTok or other platforms

Deletion from SocAPI does not delete content, activity or records already sent to TikTok or another third-party platform. Use that platform's own privacy and account controls for requests concerning information held there.
