Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SocAPI collects, uses, stores and discloses information when you use the SocAPI website, dashboard and connected social publishing services. SocAPI is the service that you access at socapi.app and through the SocAPI panel at panel.socapi.app.

By connecting a TikTok account, you authorize SocAPI to process the information and permissions shown in TikTok's authorization screen for the features you select. SocAPI is an independent third-party service and is not endorsed or sponsored by TikTok.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use, we may process:

  • account information, such as your name, email address and authentication records;
  • technical information, such as IP address, browser/device information, timestamps and security logs;
  • content and media that you upload, prepare, schedule or send for publishing;
  • connected social account identifiers and account/page profile information returned by the relevant platform;
  • authorization information, including access tokens and, where provided and needed, refresh tokens. We do not ask for or store your TikTok password;
  • billing or subscription records if paid features are introduced or used.

2. TikTok Data and Permissions

When you connect TikTok to SocAPI, TikTok may provide information associated with the TikTok account and the scopes you approve. Depending on the approved scopes and the TikTok features enabled in SocAPI, this may include a TikTok user identifier, basic profile information, authorization tokens and content or publishing results needed to complete an authorized request.

SocAPI uses TikTok data only to provide the connected features you request, including connecting the account, preparing or publishing content, displaying connection status and diagnosing a requested operation. We do not sell TikTok data, use it for targeted advertising or use it for purposes unrelated to the connected SocAPI feature. We request only the permissions needed for the feature being used.

TikTok processes information under its own Privacy Policy, and your use of TikTok remains subject to TikTok's terms and policies.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • create and secure SocAPI accounts;
  • connect and maintain authorized social integrations;
  • process, schedule and publish content at your direction;
  • provide support and respond to requests;
  • monitor security, prevent abuse and investigate errors;
  • maintain, improve and troubleshoot the Service;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. Sharing and Service Providers

We disclose information only as needed to operate SocAPI, complete an action you request, comply with law or protect the Service. This may include disclosure to the social platform selected by you, infrastructure and hosting providers, authentication providers, support providers and payment providers where applicable. Providers may process information only for the services they provide to SocAPI and under appropriate contractual or security controls.

We do not sell personal information or share TikTok data with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

5. Storage, Security and Retention

Access tokens and other authorization credentials are stored using reasonable technical and organizational safeguards and are used only for the connected services and actions you authorize. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We retain account information, content and connection records while they are needed to provide SocAPI, unless you request deletion or a longer period is required by law. When you disconnect TikTok or another social account, SocAPI stops using that authorization for new actions and deletes or invalidates locally stored authorization credentials as part of the disconnection process. We retain limited security, audit or legal records only for as long as reasonably necessary.

6. Your Choices and Data Deletion

You can disconnect TikTok from the SocAPI panel. You can also revoke SocAPI's authorization in TikTok's account or app settings. To request deletion of your SocAPI account and associated personal information, email [email protected] with the subject “SocAPI data deletion”. We will verify the request, delete eligible information without undue delay and target completion within 30 days, subject to information that must be retained for security, fraud prevention or legal reasons.

Deleting data from SocAPI does not delete content already sent to TikTok or other third-party platforms. Those platforms handle that content under their own policies and controls.

7. Cookies

SocAPI may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security and operation of the Service. If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, we will update this Policy and provide any consent required by applicable law.

8. International Processing

SocAPI and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of your personal information. Contact [email protected] to make a request. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update this Policy as SocAPI changes. The current version and its effective date will always be published on this page.

Privacy questions and requests: [email protected].
